Readings: Revelation 7:9-17; Psalm 34:1-10, 22; 1 John 3:1-3; Matthew 5:1-12
Our All Saints services this week will reflect on the community God calls us into – the church. The church is a multi-dimensional reality that exists on earth and in heaven and embraces followers of Christ across time. Our present understanding of our faith is, at least in part, built on the understanding of those faithful people who have gone before us. Today is a day for celebrating their passing of the faith to us, reminding ourselves of the place we play in the history of the church, and looking to the future when all God’s people across time will be united.
Our service at St Barnabas will begin at 9:00am and at St Michael’s at 11:00am. All are welcome!
