The Fourth Sunday of Lent, April 2
Readings: Ezekiel 37:1-14; Ps 130; Romans 8:6-11; John 11:1-45.
Our gospel reading set for today tells the story of Jesus’ raising of Lazarus. It links with last week’s reading through the question: ‘Could not he who opened the eyes of the blind man also have kept this man from dying?’ As our story unfolds, the answer is made plain: Yes – and this not just before Lazarus’ death, but also after!
Today, after each service, we will gather for the final episode of our Lenten study ‘Australians Together: Sharing Our Story’. As always, all are welcome!
