BAM stands for ‘Barney’s and Mike’s’ and is the youth arm of St Barnabas.
BAM’s vision is to introduce young people to Jesus, nurture their God-given gifts, and equip them to be agents of change in the world around them.
Our next BAM event will be at 6:00pm on Friday, 31 March at St Michael’s, Hall. Our guest will be James Holbeck who will speak under the title: ‘Burn’.
James played 8 years of professional rugby for the ACT Brumbies & 7 Tests for the Australian Wallabies. As a player he is described on the ARU website as
…a hard-running, attacking centre with the ability to break the strongest defence… Holbeck enjoyed a reputation as a ferocious tackler and his aggressive defence was well noted by his opposition. He was entitled ‘The Comeback Kid’ in an article outlining his battle with injuries. What Holbeck describes as “a bit of misfortune” would have broken the spirit of most players.
Come and hear James’ story as he shares from the heart.
